Updates!

I am finally, finally getting around to updating the blog!  Hooray!  I've been so neglectful, but only because we've been so busy - which is a great thing to any small business owner.  These pictures are the end product of the Victorian House's kitchen project.  It included a tin ceiling which turned out beautifully.  This kitchen was the result of a long term relationship between PCW and the homeowners and has been in the planning stages for several years.  All cabinetry was built in our shop by Mark and features solid quartersawn Oak construction and soft-close hardware.  The tin ceiling was ordered from W.F. Norman and installed by PCW.  All cabinet, trim and ceiling finishing done by Brant Painting & Staining - by hand - as in, with a brush... isn't it gorgeous?

This is the laundry room which features handmade cabinetry, beadboard wainscoting, beadboard ceiling and a custom made mudroom locker which is backed with an enormous dining room door from a long gone estate.

A handmade hutch in the corner of the eating area.  It is built in but looks like a freestanding piece of furniture.

You can see the custom designed cabinets as well as the trim and ceiling in this picture of the peninsula and eating area.

This is the garage door, but you'd never know it!  Check out the ultra-cool, ultra-Green marmoleum floor, too.

This photo shows the hall from the kitchen to the dining room.  On the left you can see the enormous bank of cabinets which hold the two wall ovens.

We have some great projects on the horizon and I promise to update more frequently.  Our Lake Cottage family is looking at a new old house which needs some major work - it will be a beautiful rehab!  Stay tuned...
