It's a busy day at the lake cottage today. The house is crawling with people working hard to set the trusses and get the roof decked. Although it is supposed to be warm today, it was 5 degrees at about 11:00am. At any rate - I was able to take some great shots of the cottage - which is actually starting to look like a cottage. There are a few more pictures I'm going to post today - there's just so much to see and I don't want to leave anything out. From the front door you look through the wide stair hall and can see right out to the lake. I really feel that's essential for any lake house. Upon entering the front hall there is a full bath to the left. Off either side of the hall there are the main floor bedrooms - a master suite and a second bedroom. The hall then opens onto the great room which is comprised of the kitchen, dining area and living room. There are french doors on the lake side which open onto a deck and screened porch. The walkout level holds a family room, guest bedroom and another full bath. See below for more photos from today!
